AMBITIONS FOR 2026 — THANK HIM MORE

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”1 Thessalonians 5:18

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!”Psalm 107:1

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

If there is one thing I’ve learned about life, it is this: the more thankful I am, the more anchored my heart becomes. Gratitude steadies me. It reorients my soul when circumstances feel heavy, uncertain, or unfair.

When I am faced with crisis or opposition, I am not powerless. I can lift my voice to the Lord, not only with my requests, but with my thanks. And something holy happens there. Thanksgiving shifts my focus from what is threatening me to Who is holding me. The Lord hears my prayers, and He meets me with peace.

Scripture does not say give thanks for all circumstances but in all circumstances. That distinction matters. Gratitude is not denial; it is trust. It is the quiet confidence that God’s goodness has not disappeared just because my situation is difficult.

The reason I can give thanks is simple and profound: the Lord is good, and His steadfast love endures forever. God’s goodness is not fragile or fleeting. It does not depend on my mood, my success, or my understanding. His love does not run out. It does not grow tired. It does not turn away.

In everything I do, in every word I speak, in every step I take, I desire to do in the name of Jesus. And when I give thanks to Jesus, I bless His name. Gratitude becomes worship. Thanksgiving becomes testimony.

THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS

Without Jesus, I am lost; I’m just a sinner with no hope of rescuing myself. But with Jesus, everything changes.

He lives in me.He washes me from the inside out.He places His Holy Spirit within me, allowing me to participate in His divine life and to escape the corruption of this world.

Jesus possesses perfect goodness and perfect love. His holiness shines into the darkest places and cleanses what sin has stained. His love goes even further: He so complete, so self-giving, that He laid down His life for those who had turned away from Him.

Gratitude rises naturally when I remember who He is and what He has done. Thanksgiving becomes my response to grace.

Lord, thank You for saving me. Thank You for loving me so completely and so perfectly.Thank You for eternal life, for Your Spirit within me, and for Your goodness that never fails. Let my life reflect Your glory, and let my gratitude draw others to You. I want to praise You, not just with my words, but with my whole life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
