MY LAST DEVOTIONAL

GOD’S UP TO SOMETHING!
In my life, God moves in ministry cycles. Whenever He is ready to do something big, He will have me clear my plate on something I have been doing. He does this to help me understand that even good things have endings, but that endings can create new beginnings.
Five years ago at this time, I was doing something I wanted to do. Something I knew was going to be BIG. God interrupted my plans and had me question who I was doing this big things for. What? "Why, YOU, of course, Lord!" He then put on my heart another question, “Would you be willing to give up this “big” thing for HIM, so I can reach more people for the Kingdom?" You bet. I immediately put aside what I had been working on.
More questions came. I used to write devotionals…why didn’t I do that anymore? Not sure, Lord. I can go back to writing a devotional a week, it that’s what You want me to do. Another question came…"How many days to most people go to work?" Five—that’s an easy answer. Well, His thought continued in my heart, that’s how many devotionals I should write EVERY WEEK.
Beginning June 1, 2018, I began publishing devotionals five days a week. We have been through many cycles…no one saw COVID coming…and that is when the subscription rate was the highest…we had 600 subscribers during COVID.
Now God is having me clear my plate again, at least in regard to the devotionals. My last devotional was published May 31, 2023. I’ll follow up with you as soon as God lets me know what He is up to!
In the meantime, you have options!

May you be blessed,
Chaplain Wayne
