THANKSGIVING IS ALL ABOUT PRAISE

Psalm 69:30 – “I will praise God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving.”

Psalm 95:2 – “Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.”

Psalm 100:4 – “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”

When I think of Thanksgiving, my mind often turns to food, family, and football. But true thanksgiving isn’t about those things; it’s about God Himself. He is the One who created gratitude, and He alone deserves all my thanks and praise.

God is the Eternal One, the source of all life. Without Him, I would have no breath, no hope, and no future.

THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS

I thank God as the Creator of all things—and as my Redeemer. Though my sin separated me from Him, His love sent Jesus to restore me. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, I have been forgiven and given eternal life.

So I will come before Him with thanksgiving! I will sing and glorify His name! I will enter His courts with praise and lift my heart to Him in joy!

Almighty God, Thank You for the gift of eternal life through Your Son Jesus Christ and for the presence of the Holy Spirit within me. My heart overflows with gratitude. I can’t get enough of You, Lord! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
